Mugen Seiki is excited to announce the NEW MTC3 1/10 electric touring car kit.
The MTC3 is an evolution of the highly successful MTC2 and MTC2R platform. The prototype was first raced at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship, where the two MTC3’s entered in the event both made the A final in its first event with Ronald Volker finishing 4th and Jacob Cruz finishing 10th. Below is a list of features and details for the Mugen Seiki MTC3 1/10th Electric Touring Car.
The MTC3 features improve handling, tuning, and laptimes.
1.5mm Aluminum Chassis:
used with standard type screws only.
The new chassis provides a wider range of torsion stiffness adjustments to be able to tune
for all track conditions.
The new chassis eliminates the need for a carbon chassis option.
Lower center of gravity for improve cornering. (0.5mm and 0.7mm respectively)
The chassis design has less overhang to provide more cleaarance and reduces the chance of
the chassis touching racing surface.
New Shock and Upper Arm Angle Adjustability:
No shims needed. No shims to be misplaced.
Quicker and easier to make adjustments.
New Adjustable Layshaft Height:
Allows you to use the spur gear lowest position possible.
Ability to use 90T spur gear for a large range of categories and track conditions.
Better weight distribution.
New Upper Decks:
Allows the the upper bulkhead plates be removed.
Easy access differential without disassembling anything else beside
the rear upperdeck.
New more compact bulkheads.
Shock Towers:
New shock tower screw directly to the bulkheads. (No additional parts needed)
possible to use fixed or active.
New Short Shocks:
Provide lower center of gravity and iimproved geometry.
Reduced weight.
New Bodyposts:
Easier to mount the body.
The front has two distances to make the body prep easier.
The rear has three options available for mounting the body. (horizontal, vertical & horizontal
with additional part to mount into the bodyshell)
The rear has an adjustable suspension uptravel stopper included in the kit.
New Body Support:
Body support is included in the MTC3 kit.
New Upper Arms:
New design using a 6mm ball.
Two bodystop positions.
Lightweight Bumper:
Carbon upper plate includes an adjustable suspension uptravel limiter.
Other necessary equipment:
2ch Radio set for RC car (Transmitter, Receiver, Servo) / Motor / Pinion Gear / Spur Gear / ESC (Electric Speed Controller) / Batteries for RC car / Charger / Body (190mm) / Body paint tools / Tires, Wheels, Inserts
*Servo horn and weights are not included in the kit.
